What is it?
Composition: 1 sachet containing granules for hot drink, weighing 3 g, contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine. Excipients: Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), lactose, maltodextrin, saccharin, flavorings. One sachet corresponds to 0.17 bread units. Dosage form: Granules Pharmacological group: Mucolytic agent Indications: Respiratory diseases accompanied by difficult sputum evacuation: - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Pneumonia - Bronchiectasis, bronchial asthma, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation: Due to the lack of data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation, it should only be used on the recommendation of a doctor. Dosage and administration: Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1 sachet 3 times a day (600 mg of acetylcysteine per day). Children aged 6 to 14 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day (200 mg of acetylcysteine twice a day). Caution: The use of the preparation in children under 6 years of age is not recommended due to the content of 200 mg of acetylcysteine. In such cases, it is advisable to use another preparation containing a smaller amount of acetylcysteine. Infants and children under 1 year of age: The preparation should be administered only under strict medical supervision and according to vital indications. The preparation should be taken after meals. Dissolve the granules in 1 glass of hot water and take while hot. If necessary, the prepared infusion can be kept for up to 3 hours. Additional fluid intake enhances the mucolytic effect of the preparation. It is not recommended to use the preparation for more than 4-5 days without a doctor's recommendation. Side effects: Rarely, headache, inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis), and tinnitus. Rarely - diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn and nausea, increased blood pressure, arrhythmia. In isolated cases, allergic reactions, bronchospasm, skin rash, itching, and urticaria. Overdose: In case of overdose, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, heartburn, and nausea are observed. Dosage form: #6 or #10 sachets in a cardboard box, containing 600 mg of acetylcysteine. Storage conditions: Store the preparation in a dry place, protected from light and children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. The preparation is dispensed without a prescription.
