What is it?
Active substance: Acetylcysteine Composition: 1 effervescent tablet contains 100 mg of acetylcysteine. Excipients: Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), citric acid, lactose, mannitol, sodium citrate, saccharin-sodium, flavorings. Dosage form: Effervescent tablets. Indication: Respiratory tract diseases with increased mucus production. Pulmonology: Acute and chronic respiratory tract diseases, such as: acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, asthmoid bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis. Otorhinolaryngology: Laryngitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, otitis media with effusion. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. In newborns, the preparation is used if necessary under strict medical supervision (maximum 10 mg/kg body weight). In patients with lactose intolerance, ACC is not recommended. ACC 200 is not allowed for use in children under 2 years of age, unlike ACC 100, as it contains 200 mg of acetylcysteine. Pregnancy and lactation: Since there is no data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation, its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended. Dosage and administration: Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age take the preparation 3 times a day, 2 effervescent tablets containing 100 mg of the active substance (3X200). Children aged 6 to 14 years: 3-4 times a day, 1 effervescent tablet containing 100 mg of the active substance (3-4X100 mg). Children aged 2 to 5 years: 2-3 times a day, 1 effervescent tablet containing 100 mg of the active substance (2-3X100 mg). Children under 2 years of age: 2-3 times a day, 1/2 effervescent tablet containing 100 mg of the active substance (2-3X50 mg). In patients with cystic fibrosis and body weight over 30 kg, the dose can be increased up to 800 mg. Effervescent tablets are taken after meals, dissolved in water. The duration of treatment is determined individually. For chronic bronchitis and cystic fibrosis, it is necessary to prolong the treatment. Special instructions: The mucolytic effect of acetylcysteine is enhanced by fluid intake. The solution of the preparation obtained by dissolving the effervescent tablet in water must be taken immediately after preparation. In exceptional cases, due to the stabilizers (ascorbic acid, Vitamin C) in the preparation, the prepared solution can be delayed for approximately 2 hours. Dosage form: Effervescent tablets 100 mg; 200 mg. #20, 50, and 100 pieces in original packaging. Clinical packaging contains #60 effervescent tablets in a cardboard box. Storage conditions: Store the preparation in a dry place, protected from light and children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 0
