Description: Light brown liquid with a bitter taste and characteristic odor. Darkens under the influence of air and light. Sediment formation is permissible during storage. Pharmacological action: Aloe juice improves appetite and enhances the secretion of gastrointestinal tract glands. The anthraglycoside aloin, free anthraquinones emodin and chrysophanol, and resins irritate the chemoreceptors of the large intestine, which causes the preparation's laxative effect. Aloe is characterized by anti-inflammatory action, enhances regenerative processes of the skin and mucous membranes. Aloe juice has bactericidal action against cocci, intestinal infections, and the diphtheria pathogen. Polysaccharides present in aloe, in combination with microelements, zinc, selenium, and copper, provide the preparation's immunomodulatory activity. Side effects: • When used for a long time and in large doses to achieve a laxative effect, it can cause decreased peristalsis of the large intestine due to irritation of the mucous membrane; • Allergic reactions; • Increased uterine tone during pregnancy. Method of administration and dosage: Taken orally: 1 or 2 teaspoons 2-3 times a day 20-30 minutes before meals. Course of treatment 15-30 days.
