What is it?
Amorolfine Musmani Nail Lacquer 5% 3ml Glass Bottle Composition: The active substance is: amorolfine, as hydrochloride. Amorolfine Musmani 5% contains 50 mg/ml of amorolfine (equivalent to 55.74 mg of amorolfine hydrochloride). Other ingredients are: ammonio methacrylate copolymer A, triacetin, butyl acetate and ethanol. Indication: Amorolfine Musmani 5% is used to treat fungal infections of the nails. Amorolfine Musmani 5% contains the active ingredient amorolfine (as hydrochloride), which belongs to a group of medicines known as antifungal agents. It kills many types of fungi that cause nail infections. Instructions for use: Always use Amorolfine Musmani 5% exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Amorolfine Musmani 5% should be applied to the affected fingernails or toenails once or twice a week, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Filing the nail File the infected area of the nail, including the nail surface, as much as possible with the file supplied with the product. Warning: Do not use the file used on infected nails on healthy nails, otherwise the infection may spread. Take care not to let others use your file to avoid spreading the infection. Cleaning the nail Use the swabs supplied with the product to clean the nail surface. Repeat steps 1 and 2 above for each affected nail. Remove a small amount of lacquer from the bottle Insert the reusable applicator into the bottle containing the nail lacquer. The lacquer should not touch the edge of the bottle before application. Apply the lacquer Apply the nail lacquer evenly over the entire surface of the nail. Repeat steps 3 and 4 above for each affected nail. Drying The treated nail(s) should be allowed to dry for approximately 3 minutes. Cosmetic nail polish can be applied after a minimum of 10 minutes. Cleaning the applicator The applicators supplied with the product are intended for multiple uses. However, it is essential to clean them thoroughly after each procedure with the same swab used to clean the nail. Avoid touching the swab to the freshly treated nail. Close the lacquer bottle tightly. Dispose of the swab carefully as it is flammable. Before reapplying Amorolfine Musmani 5%, remove the old lacquer with a swab, then, if necessary, file the nail again. Reapply the lacquer as described above. After drying, you can wash your hands with soap and water. If you need to use chemicals such as paint thinner or solvents, wear rubber or airtight gloves to protect the lacquer on your fingernails. During treatment, you should avoid wearing nail polish or artificial nails. It is important to continue using Amorolfine Musmani 5% until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have regrown, which usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9-12 months for toenails. Your doctor will likely check the progress of the treatment every 3 months. Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store protected from heat (store up to 30 C). The bottle must be tightly closed during storage. After opening, the product is stored for a maximum of 6 months.
