What is it?
Composition A dark brownish liquid with a specific odor and sweet taste (with a mucous sensation). Sediment is permissible. g/100ml Active substance: Bidens tripartita (Herba bidentis) _ 100.0 g Excipients: Ethanol 95% _ 15ml, Distilled water _ quantity sufficient to obtain 100.0g of extract; Bidens contains essential oils, carotenoids, flavonoids, tannins, coumarins, ascorbic acid, microelements (iron, chromium, copper, aluminum, manganese). Pharmacological properties The preparation has anti-inflammatory, bactericidal action, which is due to the flavonoid compounds (flavones and chalcones) contained in Bidens, as well as tannins, which are dominated by polyphenols of simple structure. They are characterized by more pronounced antimicrobial properties than tannin-type substances. The antimicrobial action of the preparation is enhanced by the manganese content in Bidens. In addition to the above, the preparation has antiallergic, antipyretic action (due to increased sweating), and promotes wound healing. Indications For external use. • Skin manifestations of exudative diathesis; • Eczema; • Psoriasis; • Furunculosis; • Pyoderma. Dosage and administration Attention! Shake the preparation before use! To prepare a bath, dilute 20ml of "Chupa-Chupa" in 10l of water. Side effects None established. Contraindications Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation. Storage conditions and shelf life Store at a temperature of 15-25°C, protected from light and out of reach of children. Shelf life is 2 years.
