What is it?
Active Ingredient: The preparation contains Bisacodyl as the active ingredient. Dosage Form: 5mg enteric-coated tablet Pharmacological Group: Laxative Indications: Constipation caused by hypotonia or weak peristalsis of the large intestine (especially in elderly patients, post-operative and post-partum periods). Regulation of bowel function in cases of hemorrhoids, proctitis, anal fissures. Preparation for surgical operations, instrumental and X-ray examinations. Dosage and Administration: Adults and children over 12 years old - 5-15mg, children 6-12 years old - 5mg, for children under 6 years old, consult a doctor. Take once daily before bedtime or 30 minutes before breakfast. Contraindications: Intestinal obstruction, incarcerated hernia, acute inflammatory diseases of abdominal organs, abdominal pain of unknown origin, peritonitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, uterine bleeding, cystitis, acute proctitis, acute hemorrhoids. Pregnancy and Lactation: Bisacodyl should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation. Side Effects: Possible colicky abdominal pain, diarrhea. Warnings and Precautions: The preparation should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney diseases. Prolonged use of Bisacodyl is not recommended.
