What is it?
Xailin Gel Moisturising Eye Gel Carbomer 0.2% 10g Tube Description Carbomer gel is a viscous and hypotonic solution of 0.2% carbomer 980. Carbomer gel has excellent mucoadhesive properties and moisturizes the eye, evenly covering the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. Use Used as a moisturizing eye drop to relieve symptoms of dry eye, discomfort, and minor irritation caused by dry eye. Each gram contains: Carbomer 980 2.0 mg, Cetrimide 0.1 mg, Sorbitol 40.0 mg, Sodium Hydroxide 0.84 mg, Water for Injection q.s. How to use Xailin Gel Wash hands thoroughly before use. Remove the tamper-evident band by twisting it off the cap in the opposite direction and detach the cap from the tamper-evident band. Remove the cap from the tube, tilt your head back, and pull down your lower eyelid to create a conjunctival sac. Hold the tube vertically, upside down, and gently squeeze until a drop forms at the tip of the dropper. Place this drop in the eye without touching the tip of the tube to the eye. Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly over the surface of the eye, removing any excess gel around the eyelids. Replace the cap on the tube, ensuring it is not overtightened. Also, do not touch the tip of the tube to any other surface (including your fingers). Instill one drop of the product into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times a day or as needed, depending on the discomfort and relief obtained from the product. The duration of treatment may be extended for more than 30 days after consulting a doctor. Precautions, Warnings and Contraindications Do not use if the tube or tamper-evident seal is damaged. Remove contact lenses when instilling the product. A minimum interval of 30 minutes should be observed between instillation and reinsertion of lenses. If prescribed several ophthalmic preparations, there should be a minimum interval of 5 minutes between the use of two products, and carbomer gel should be instilled last. Do not touch the tip of the tube to the eye or any other surface to avoid scratching the eye or contaminating the product. Close the cap carefully after use, do not overtighten. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. For external use only. Mild temporary burning, sticking of eyelids, and blurred vision may occasionally occur after instilling the gel. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30°C. Do not use the product after the expiry date or more than 30 days after first opening. If symptoms do not improve within 2 days or worsen at any time, consult a doctor.
