What is it?
Cloely Pharmacotherapeutic group: Cough suppressant 100 ml of suspension contains: Active substance: Clopearastine fendizoate 708 mg (equivalent to 400 mg clopearastine hydrochloride) Excipients: Xanthan gum, polyoxyethylene stearate, xylitol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, banana flavoring, purified water. Indications: Cloely is a cough suppressant used in the following conditions: • Diseases accompanied by dry, spasmodic, allergic cough. • Classic (seasonal) flu. • Cold and related symptoms. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients. Due to insufficient research in the 0-2 year age group, it is recommended not to use this medication in young children. It is also not recommended for use during pregnancy. Warnings and Precautions: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Cloely. Other Medicines and Cloely: Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any medications you are taking, have recently taken, or plan to take. The following medications should not be taken with Cloely: - Antihistamines (medications for allergies); - Sedatives (medications with a calming effect). Taking Cloely with Alcohol: Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of developing unwanted side effects of the medication. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: During pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if pregnancy is suspected or planned, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Cloely is not permitted to be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy. During the remainder of the pregnancy, it may be taken only when medically indicated and under strict medical supervision. Recommended Dosage: Adults: 5 ml three times a day Use in Children and Adolescents: • Children aged 2-4 years: 2 ml twice a day • Children aged 4-7 years: 3 ml twice a day • Children aged 7-15 years: 5 ml twice a day Method of Administration: 1) Shake the bottle well before use; 2) Use the 2-3-5 ml measuring cup provided in the packaging; 3) Do not exceed the recommended dose. Possible Side Effects: Like all medications, this medication can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Very high doses cause dry mouth and mild drowsiness, which disappear quickly after dose reduction. It is necessary to follow the instructions in the leaflet to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects. Shelf Life and Storage Conditions: Expiry: See expiry date indicated on the packaging. The shelf life of the product applies to the unopened preparation. Caution: Do not use the medication after the indicated expiry date. This medication does not require any special storage conditions.
