What is it?
Composition: The active substance is dexketoprofen. Indication: Used for short-term symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain, such as acute muscle or joint pain, menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), toothache. Contraindication: If the patient is allergic to dexketoprofen trometamol or any other ingredient of this preparation; if the patient is allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; has asthma or has had asthma attacks, acute allergic rhinitis (short period of inflammation of the nasal mucosa), nasal polyps (fleshy growths inside the nose caused by allergies), urticaria (skin rash), angioneurotic edema (swelling of the face, eyes, lips or tongue, or difficulty breathing) or wheezing in the chest after taking acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; if the patient has had a specific form of skin redness or burning due to sun exposure while taking ketoprofen or fibrates; if the patient has or has had a peptic ulcer in the past, bleeding from the stomach or intestines, or if they have chronic digestive problems (e.g., indigestion or heartburn); if there has been bleeding or perforation from the stomach or intestines in the past, caused by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for pain before; if the patient has chronic inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis); if they have severe heart failure, moderate to severe kidney failure or severe liver failure; if they have bleeding disorders or blood clotting disorders; if they have severe dehydration due to vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake; if the patient is in the third trimester of pregnancy or breastfeeding; if under 18 years of age. Children and adolescents: This preparation is not to be taken by individuals under 18 years of age. Dosage and administration: The dose may vary depending on the type, severity, and duration of pain. Generally, the recommended dose is 1 sachet (25mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours, not exceeding 3 sachets (75mg) per day. If the patient is elderly or has kidney or liver diseases, the recommended starting dose is a maximum of 2 sachets per day (50mg). In elderly patients, this starting dose may subsequently be increased to the generally recommended dose (75mg dexketoprofen) if dexketoprofen normon is well tolerated. If the patient's pain is intense and requires rapid relief, sachets should be taken on an empty stomach (at least 15 minutes before meals) as they are absorbed more easily. Storage: Store in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature below 30C. Dispensing: Pharmaceutical product group III, over-the-counter.
