What is it?
Composition: Active ingredients are Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, Benzocaine, and Enoxolone. Each lozenge contains 5 mg Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, 4 mg Benzocaine, and 3 mg Enoxolone. Excipients are: Sorbitol (E-420), Povidone, Saccharin sodium (E-954), Magnesium stearate, and Mint flavor. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Preparations for throat diseases. Indications: Deratin Complex is indicated for local and temporary symptomatic treatment of mild infectious and inflammatory processes of the mouth and pharynx in adults and children over 6 years of age: aphthous stomatitis, pharyngeal irritation or aphonia accompanied by pain and without fever. Medical attention is required if the patient's condition does not improve, worsens after 2 days, or if symptoms of constipation are not relieved. Dosage and method of administration: The medication should always be taken exactly as instructed or as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. Recommended dosage is: Children over 6 years of age - 1 lozenge every 4-5 hours, up to a maximum dose of 6 lozenges per day. Adults and children over 12 years of age - 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours, up to a maximum dose of 8 lozenges per day. Administration of the medication is not recommended in children under 6 years of age. In children aged 6-12 years, use 1 lozenge every 4-5 hours, up to a maximum dose of 6 lozenges per day. Administration of the medication should be under adult supervision. Deratin Complex is intended for oral use. Lozenges should be dissolved slowly in the mouth, without chewing or swallowing, as the action of the lozenges is local and they are effective only if the product directly acts on the affected area. The lowest effective dose should always be used. The duration of treatment is usually 2 days. If symptoms worsen, persist for more than 2 days after starting treatment, or if fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting develop, consult a doctor as soon as possible. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine, benzocaine, enoxolone, or any other ingredient of the medication. Pregnancy and lactation: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Storage conditions: Store in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 30C. Expiration date: Indicated on the packaging. Pharmacy dispensing conditions: Over-the-counter.
