What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - diclofenac Clinical-pharmacological group: Anti-inflammatory agents → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for systemic use → Phenylacetic acid derivatives Composition 1 tablet contains: Active substance: Sodium diclofenac – 100 mg / 50 mg / 75 mg / 25 mg Indications Musculoskeletal system diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic, juvenile chronic arthritis, ankylosing spondyloarthritis, gouty arthritis, rheumatoid soft tissue lesions, osteoarthritis of peripheral joints and spine, including radicular syndrome, tendovaginitis, bursitis). Mild to moderate pain syndrome: neuralgia, myalgia, lumbo-ischialgia, post-traumatic pain syndrome, postoperative pain, headache, migraine, algomenorrhea, adnexitis, proctitis, toothache. In complex therapy for infectious-inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs with pronounced pain syndrome (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis). Dosage and Administration Take orally, without chewing, with a small amount of water, usually during or after meals. 1 tablet once a day. Pregnancy and Lactation Diclofenac use during pregnancy (especially the III trimester) and lactation is not recommended. Special Instructions During treatment with the preparation, regular monitoring of peripheral blood count, liver and kidney function, and the presence of blood in the stool is necessary. During the period of taking the preparation, patients should refrain from activities that require high concentration of attention and rapid mental and motor reactions, and from consuming alcohol. Overdose Symptoms: vomiting, dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, confusion, in children – myoclonic seizures, nausea, abdominal pain, bleeding, liver and kidney dysfunction. Treatment: gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy, forced diuresis. Hemodialysis is slightly effective.
