What is it?
Composition: The active substance is enalapril maleate. Each tablet contains 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, or 20 mg enalapril maleate. Indications: Treatment of symptoms of high blood pressure and heart failure. In cases of asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction, it is used to prevent heart failure. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to enalapril or other components of the preparation or to other ACE inhibitors; if an allergic reaction (angioedema) was observed in connection with the intake of ACE inhibitors, manifested by sharp swelling of the lips, face, neck, arms, and legs, accompanied by difficulty breathing and wheezing; hereditary angioedema or if angioneurotic edema developed for any other reason. The last six months of pregnancy. Dosage of ENAP: ENAP should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. The usual dose is selected based on the patient's clinical condition and needs, and also depends on other medications already taken. Treatment of arterial hypertension: The recommended initial daily dose is 5 mg, taken once a day. The usual maintenance dose is 20 mg, and the maximum daily dose is up to 40 mg. Storage of ENAP: Store in a place inaccessible to children. Store in the original packaging, protected from moisture.
