Composition 1 ml of the preparation contains: Active substance: Terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg. Excipients: Propylene glycol, Ethanol 96%, Macrogol cetostearyl ether 1000, Citric acid monohydrate, Purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antifungal agent for external use. Indications for use Treatment of tinea pedis ("athlete's foot"), tinea cruris ("jock itch") caused by dermatophytes Trichophyton spp. (including T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum) and Epidermophyton floccosum. Dosage and administration For external use only. Before applying the preparation, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and dry the affected area. The preparation is sprayed onto the affected skin and surrounding areas in an amount sufficient to moisten them and gently rubbed in. Adults Terbinol 1% spray is used once a day for one week. A reduction in the clinical manifestations of the disease is usually observed in the first days of treatment. Irregular treatment or premature discontinuation of treatment carries the risk of infection recurrence. If no signs of improvement are observed 2 weeks after the start of treatment, the diagnosis needs to be clarified. Elderly patients No dosage regimen adjustment is required. Instructions for use of the preparation Before first use of Terbinol spray, press the dispenser several times until a spray appears, indicating the preparation is ready for use. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any of the excipients in the preparation. Use in pediatrics The preparation is not used in children under 16 years of age, as experience with the use of Terbinafine hydrochloride 1% spray in this patient group is limited. Use during pregnancy and lactation Pregnancy Animal studies have not revealed teratogenic or embryotoxic effects of terbinafine. Given that data on the use of terbinafine during pregnancy are limited, the preparation should be prescribed only when the expected positive effect for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. Lactation Terbinafine penetrates into breast milk, so the preparation should not be used during breastfeeding. The newborn should be kept away from contact with the skin area where the preparation has been applied, including the breast. Storage conditions Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
