Composition Active ingredient: Fenticonazole; 1g cream contains 20mg Fenticonazole nitrate; Excipients: Propylene glycol, hydrogenated lanolin, almond oil, polyglycol ether of fatty acids, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, disodium edetate, purified water Pharmacological properties A broad-spectrum synthetic antifungal agent that actively acts against dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton), Pityrosporum orbicular, Poval, yeast and mold fungi of the Candida genus, which cause systemic mycoses. The preparation has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive microorganisms. Indications Prevention and treatment of fungal, bacterial, and mixed infections of the skin and mucous membranes of the genital organs. Method of administration and dosage Lomexin is applied topically 1-2 times a day (depending on the severity of the disease). The cream is gently rubbed into previously washed and dry affected areas, preferably at night. If necessary, the cream can also be used in the morning. The course of treatment depends on the type of microorganism and the size of the affected areas. To avoid reinfection, sexual partners should use Lomexin simultaneously. Side effects Rarely: burning sensation, which quickly subsides. The use of the preparation is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
