What is it?
Phytostimoline 15% Cream Composition 100g of cream contains: Active substance: Aqueous extract of wheat (Triticum vulgare) (200mg 100ml dry residue) 15g. Excipients: 2-phenoxyethanol; Macrogol 400; Macrogol 1500; Macrogol 3000; Macrogol 4000; Liquid paraffin, Cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Glycerin, Purified water. Therapeutic indications Phytostimoline 15% cream is recommended for the treatment of ulcers and bedsores. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Precautions for use The use of any product, especially for prolonged periods, may lead to the development of hypersensitivity. In such cases, treatment should be discontinued or, if necessary, alternative therapy should be prescribed. The same can develop in the case of non-sensitive microbes. Interactions If you are taking any other medicines, even those that do not require a medical prescription, tell your doctor or pharmacist. No interactions or incompatibilities have been reported. Special instructions Phytostimoline 15% cream contains cetyl and stearyl alcohol, which can cause skin irritation (i.e., contact dermatitis). Pregnancy and breastfeeding The use of Phytostimoline 15% cream is possible during pregnancy or breastfeeding without contraindications. Driving and using machinery The use of Phytostimoline 15% cream does not affect the ability to drive or use machinery. Dosage, regimen and duration of treatment: Treatment involves applying the cream at least twice a day. Application is based on the severity, extent and location of the symptom, and may be reduced to a simple absorbent massage, or, according to the recommended dosage, it may be necessary to cover the entire area. Method of use: Apply the required amount of cream to the affected area and cover with a sterile gauze, if necessary, soaked with the same cream to maintain the softness and smoothness of the dressing. During subsequent dressing changes, unless there are specific contraindications, the affected area can be pre-cleaned with sterile water, as the cream is fully hydrodispersible and leaves no residue. Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported. If you have any doubts about taking Phytostimoline, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
