What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Spiritus dichlorbenzile; Amylmetacresol Composition: One tablet contains active substances: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol – 1.2 mg, Amylmetacresol – 0.6 mg. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Combined antimicrobial agent. Pharmacological action: Combined antimicrobial preparation for local use in the oral and pharyngeal cavity. It has antiseptic action. It is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms. Indications for use: Treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the oral and pharyngeal cavity (sore throat). Strepsils lozenges with lemon and herbs can be used by people with diabetes mellitus. Contraindications: • Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation • Children (under 5 years of age) Dosage and administration: Adults and children over 5 years of age: Dissolve 1 tablet every 2-3 hours. No more than 8 tablets can be taken in 24 hours.
