What is it?
Glycerol Pharma Trenta Suppositories Active Ingredient: Glycerin 1375mg Excipients: Sodium bicarbonate 30mg; Sodium stearate 95mg. Therapeutic Indication: For short-term treatment of occasional constipation. Dosage and Administration: The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to ensure easy defecation. Low doses should be used initially. Adults and adolescents (12-18 years). 1 suppository for adults as needed, maximum 1-2 doses per day. Children aged 2-11 years. 1 suppository for children as needed, maximum 1-2 doses per day. Instructions for Use: Remove the suppository from the blister pack and then, if necessary, moisten it to facilitate rectal insertion. If you find the suppository is soft, place it in the blister pack until it hardens and place it in cool water. Use of the medication in children under twelve years of age is permitted only after consulting a doctor. Laxatives should be used as rarely as possible, not more than seven days (see safety measures). A diet rich in fluids aids the effects of the medication. Shelf Life and Storage: Shelf life: The expiry date is indicated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the unopened, properly stored product. Caution: Do not use this medicine after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Store in the original packaging, protected from moisture and direct sources of heat. Store below 30°C.
