What is it?
Composition 100 contains: Ivy leaf liquid extract 4.0g Excipients: Propylene glycol 83.690; Glycerol 20.000g; Flavoring 0.130g; Water-soluble peppermint oil 0.030g 1 ml (31 drops) Pharmacological properties Herbal origin, antitussive (expectorant) agent. Indications Acute and chronic infectious-inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by the formation of sticky and viscous bronchial secretions or/and difficulty in expectoration - Acute, chronic bronchitis - Tracheobronchitis - Bronchial asthma - Bronchiectasis. Dosage and administration Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, Hedelix is taken 3 times a day: Age Single dose Daily dose Adults and 10 years 30–40 drops 90–120 drops 4–10 years children 20 drops 60 drops 1–4 years children 15 drops 45 drops 0–1 year children 10 drops 30 drops Duration of use The duration of use depends on the type and severity of the disease, but even in mild forms of respiratory diseases, treatment should continue for at least 7 days. Treatment with the preparation is continued for 2-3 days after the disappearance of the disease symptoms. Side effects Not known. Contraindications Not known. Pregnancy and lactation The preparation is used during pregnancy and lactation. Special instructions For patients with diabetes mellitus People with diabetes mellitus can take Hedelix as it does not contain ethanol and sugar. Interaction with other drugs Hedelix should not be taken together with antitussive preparations, as it hinders sputum expectoration. Storage conditions and shelf life Store at +5°C _ +25°C, protected from light and out of reach of children. Shelf life 4 years. Do not use after the expiry date!
