Slezo Forte Eye Drops 15ml Bottle

Composition Per 1 ml of the preparation, the active substances contain: Dextran 70 - 1 mg, Hypromellose - 3 mg. Excipients: Benzalkonium chloride, Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium tetraborate, Sodium hydroxide and/or Hydrochloric acid, Water for injection. Pharmacological properties Slezol Forte is an ophthalmic agent for topical use. Hypromellose is a protector of the corneal epithelium, has a moisturizing and soothing effect, and has high viscosity, which increases the duration of contact of the solution with the cornea. The refractive index of the solution is analogous to natural tears. It helps restore the optical characteristics, stability, and formation of the tear film. Slezol Forte contains dextran, which, together with natural tears, increases the stability of the tear film. The preparation compensates for tear deficiency and improves corneal hydration. Indications for use - "Dry eye" syndrome; - Relief of corneal syndrome (including discomfort, burning, foreign body sensation). Method of administration and dosage For topical use only. Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) as needed. If there is no effect within 3 days of starting treatment, treatment should be discontinued. Do not touch the eye or eyelid with the tip of the dropper. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side effects The frequency parameters of side reactions are defined as follows: Very common (≥ 1/10), Common (≥ 1/100 - < 1/10), Uncommon (≥ 1/1000 - < 1/100), Frequency unknown. Within each frequency group, undesirable reactions are listed in order of decreasing severity. Immune system: Frequency unknown - Hypersensitivity reactions. Nervous system: Uncommon - Headache. Organ of vision: Very common - Blurred vision; Common - Dry eyes, eyelid disorder, abnormal eye sensation, foreign body and discomfort sensation in the eyes; Uncommon - Photophobia, hypesthesia and itching of the eyes, eye irritation and hyperemia; Frequency unknown - Redness of eyelids, eye swelling, eye pain, discharge from the eye, crust formation on the eyelid margins, increased tearing. General disorders and administration site conditions: Uncommon - Discomfort. Special instructions The preparation contains benzalkonium chloride, which can cause eye irritation and discoloration of soft contact lenses. Patients using contact lenses should remove their lenses before instilling the preparation and reinsert them 15 minutes after using the preparation. In case of any signs of hypersensitivity, the use of the preparation should be discontinued. Effect on ability to drive and use machines Blurred vision may occur immediately after instillation, which may make it difficult to drive or operate machinery. It is recommended to start work 15 minutes after instillation. Use during pregnancy and lactation Adequate and controlled studies in pregnant and lactating women have not been conducted. Use in pediatrics Data on the possibility of using the preparation in children are not available. Interaction with other medicinal products When other topical ophthalmic agents are used simultaneously, the interval between instillations should be at least 10-15 minutes. Overdose There is no data on cases of overdose of Slezol Forte. Dosage form Eye drops are available in a 15 ml plastic bottle with a dropper and a screw-on protective cap. The bottle is placed in a cardboard box with instructions for use. Storage conditions Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children! Do not freeze. After opening the bottle, the preparation should be used within 28 days. Shelf life 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiry date.
