Inosel №30 Capsules (Dietary Supplement) Ingredients: Myo-inositol - 600 mg L-selenomethionine - 100 mcg Physiological Function of Myo-inositol and Selenium: Myo-inositol is an endogenous metabolite essential for the synthesis of over 50 inositol phosphate derivatives involved in intracellular signal transduction from receptors for gonadotropin-releasing hormone (Gn-RH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), insulin, etc. In the thyroid gland, myo-inositol is involved in TSH-induced iodine organification. Inositol also participates in glucose metabolism, contributing to the regulation of blood sugar levels. This helps improve cellular sensitivity to insulin, which is important for controlling glucose levels and preventing the development of diabetes. Disruptions in myo-inositol metabolism lead to insulin resistance, cellular resistance to GnRH/FSH/LH, ovulation disorders, suppression of oocyte maturation, and accelerated formation of polycystic ovaries. Selenium is co-translationally incorporated into selenoproteins as a selenocysteine residue. Due to its incorporation into proteins, selenium participates in numerous biochemical reactions, primarily supporting the redox balance and thyroid hormone metabolism. Daily doses of selenium from 55 to 100 mcg ensure maximum activity of glutathione peroxidase in plasma and erythrocytes. Selenium positively affects the production of: T and B lymphocytes and macrophages, and consequently, the functioning of the immune system; Hormone T3 (triiodothyronine) and regulates the level of antithyroid antibodies (anti-TPO) in patients with autoimmune hypothyroidism.
