What is it?
Composition: Active substance: 1 patch contains 30 mg ketoprofen; Excipients: liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, alkyl acrylate and vinyl acetate copolymer, tocopherol acetate, concentrated glycerin, anhydrous ethanol. Excipients are applied to a special fabric. Dosage form. Transdermal patch. Patch - on a special fabric base, coated with a transparent paste; covered from above with a protective paper of a polymer layer. Pharmacotherapeutic group. Anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic agent. Indications. Osteoarthritis (also rheumatoid arthritis), soft tissue injuries (traumatic soft tissue injuries, contusions, minor acute injuries sustained during sports activities). Pain associated with localized chronic inflammatory diseases (peri- and extra-articular rheumatic diseases), treatment of skeletal and muscle diseases and myofascial syndrome. Arthritis Tendinitis Peritendinitis Myalgia (muscle pain) Pain and swelling caused by trauma Shoulder periarticular inflammation Shoulder epicondylitis Contraindications: KEFENTEK patch is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity and intolerance to ketoprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (as well as the excipients of the patch). Special instructions: Do not use the patch on damaged (open wound) or eczematous skin. KEFENTEK patch should not be used on mucous membranes and eyes. Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery: Not studied, however, any negative effect of the patch on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery is unlikely. Pregnancy and lactation: Not recommended, as there is no data on its use during pregnancy and lactation. Children: Studies on the use of KEFENTEK in children have not been conducted. Caution is recommended in children under 7 years of age. Use in case of impaired liver function. Studies have not been conducted in patients with impaired liver function. Dosage and administration. The patch is applied twice a day (morning and evening) to the affected area. Duration of treatment from a few days to 2 months. KEFENTEK patch can be used together with oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as adjunctive therapy. Storage conditions: Store in a place protected from light, inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Dispensing: Over-the-counter.
