Composition 100ml contains: Ketotifen fumarate – 0.0276g (calculated on 100% substance) Nipagin – 0.1g Nipazol – 0.02g Sorbitol – 40.0g Citric acid – 0.2g Phosphate nitrate – 0.6g Rectified ethyl alcohol – 3.0ml Food flavoring raspberry essence – 0.1g Distilled water Dosage form Syrup Pharmacological group Antihistamine Indications for use Ketotifen is prescribed for: Bronchial asthma attacks Allergic bronchitis Asthmatic complications caused by hay fever Long-term prophylaxis of allergic dermatoses Method of administration and dosage Adults: 5ml (1 teaspoon) 2 times a day – morning and evening during meals. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 20ml (4 teaspoons), divided into 2 doses. Children from 3 years of age, weighing over 25kg: 5ml (1 teaspoon) 2 times a day Children under 3 years of age: 0.025mg/kg body weight (0.125ml syrup) 2 times a day Contraindications There are no absolute contraindications to the use of the preparation Pregnancy The use of the preparation during pregnancy is not recommended for children under 6 months of age Storage conditions and shelf life Potent medicinal product.
