What is it?
Composition: Clotrimazole Pharmacological property: Antifungal agent. Indication: For infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, molds, ringworms, athlete's foot, fungal diseases of the skin and skin folds, fungal nail disease, fungal rash, groin fold inflammation, and inflammation of the skin caused by friction. For external use only. Contraindication: Clotrimazole cream should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or cetostearyl alcohol. As a precaution, it should not be used in early pregnancy. Dosage and administration: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, apply the cream in a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times a day and rub it in. Side effects: Skin reactions may occur, such as a burning or stinging sensation. Interaction with other medicines: Clotrimazole cream reduces the effectiveness of amphotericin and other polyene antibiotics (nystatin, natamycin).
