What is it?
Bene Iron Liposomal Iron Liposomal iron was developed to improve iron bioavailability and gastrointestinal tolerance to iron preparations. This form of iron is encapsulated in liposomes, which are tiny spherical vesicles composed of two lipid layers. Mechanism of action: The lipid layer of the liposome protects the iron encapsulated within the liposomes from direct contact with the digestive tract, ensuring the absence of side effects characteristic of conventional iron preparations. Iron encapsulated in liposomes (iron bisglycinate) easily passes through the protective barrier of the intestinal wall, enters the bloodstream, and is transported to the liver, where it is broken down and iron is fully released. Iron Bisglycinate Bene Iron Properties: - High absorption and bioavailability - Good oral tolerance - Does not contain animal-derived ingredients (suitable for vegetarians, vegans) - Does not contain GMO additives, allergens, or residual organic solvents - Is biocompatible and non-toxic - Safe for elderly and diabetic patients - Does not cause vomiting, constipation, or abdominal pain - Does not leave a metallic taste in the mouth - Does not cause discoloration of excrement Indications: • Iron deficiency anemia: caused by hemodialysis, kidney failure, acute and chronic bleeding, bariatric surgery, hormonal disorders (thyroid dysfunction, during oncological and infectious diseases, as well as anemias developed as a result of chemotherapy and radiation therapy). • Bene Iron is especially recommended for patients who poorly tolerate conventional iron preparations. • Increased iron demand: pregnant women, athletes, patients with chronic bleeding. • Malabsorption syndrome: when iron absorption is complicated, for example, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases. Dosage: For adults and children from 12 years of age, it is recommended to take 1 capsule per day. Dosage adjustment is possible upon doctor's recommendation.
