What is it?
International Name - neomycin+polymyxin B+metronidazo+miconaz Composition Each soft vaginal capsule contains: Metronidazole 400mg Miconazole Nitrate 100mg Neomycin Sulfate 45mg Gothu-Kola 15mg Polymyxin Sulfate 5mg Liquid Vaseline, Vaseline, Gelatin, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sunset Yellow and Titanium Dioxide q.s. Indications Local treatment of vulvovaginal mycosis, trichomonas and nonspecific vaginitis, treatment of superinfection caused by bacteria sensitive to neomycin or polymyxin during treatment. Dosage and Administration The recommended dose is 1 or 2 capsules daily for 7-10 days. In case of trichomonas, it is recommended to use it in combination with oral therapy. Treatment should not be repeated more than 2-3 times a year. Insert the vaginal soft capsule deep into the vagina at bedtime at night. Contraindications Known hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Central nervous system disease. First trimester of pregnancy. Liver failure. Latex diaphragms or condoms. Side effects In a small number of patients, vaginal burning or itching, gastrointestinal disorders, nausea, metallic taste, anorexia, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur.
