International Nonproprietary Name - Benzyldimethyl [ 3- (myristoylamino) propyl ] ammonium chloride monohydrate Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Antiseptic agents → Antiseptic agents for topical use Chemical Name: Benzyldimethyl [ 3- (myristoylamino) propyl ] ammonium chloride monohydrate Dosage Form: Solution for topical use Composition: Active substance: Benzyldimethyl [ 3- (myristoylamino) propyl ] ammonium chloride monohydrate (calculated on anhydrous substance) – 0.1 g Excipients: Purified water – up to 1 liter Description: Colorless, transparent liquid, foams when shaken Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Antiseptic agent Indications: Otolaryngology: Complex treatment of acute and chronic otitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis. In children: Used in children aged 3 to 14 years for the complex treatment of acute pharyngitis and/or exacerbation of chronic tonsillitis. Dentistry: Treatment and prevention of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity: stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, periodontitis. Hygienic treatment of removable dentures. Surgery, Traumatology: Prevention of suppuration and purulent wounds. Treatment of purulent-inflammatory processes of the musculoskeletal system. Obstetrics and Gynecology: Prevention and treatment of postpartum injuries, perineal and vaginal suppuration, postpartum infections, inflammatory diseases (vulvovaginitis, endometritis). Combustology: For superficial and deep burns of II and III degree, preparation of burn wounds for dermatoplasty. Dermatology, Venereology: Prevention and treatment of pyoderma and dermatomycosis, candidomycosis of skin and mucous membranes, tinea pedis. Individual prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, genital herpes, genital candidiasis, etc.). Urology: Complex treatment of acute and chronic urethritis of specific (gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, chlamydia) and non-specific nature. Contraindications: Individual hypersensitivity to the preparation. Method of Administration and Dosage: The preparation is ready for use. Instructions for using the bottle with a spray nozzle: 1. Remove the cap from the bottle, 50 ml. Also remove the urethral applicator from the bottle. 2. Remove the spray nozzle from the protective packaging. 3. Attach the spray nozzle to the bottle. 4. Activate the spray nozzle by pressing repeatedly. Instructions for using the 50 ml and 100 ml packaging with a gynecological nozzle: 1. Remove the cap from the bottle. 2. Remove the gynecological nozzle from the protective packaging. 3. Attach the gynecological nozzle to the bottle without removing the urological applicator. Otorhinolaryngology: In purulent sinusitis – the maxillary sinus is irrigated with a sufficient amount of the preparation during puncture. Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and laryngitis are treated by gargling multiple times or spraying with the spray nozzle, 3-4 presses, 3-4 times a day. The amount of preparation per gargle is 10-15 ml. In children: For acute pharyngitis and/or exacerbated chronic tonsillitis, spraying into the throat is performed using the spray nozzle. Children aged 3-6 years: with a single press on the spray nozzle head (3-5 ml per spray), 3-4 times a day; Children aged 7-14 years: with two presses on the spray nozzle head (10-15 ml per spray), 3-4 times a day. The duration of therapy is from 4 to 10 days until remission. Dentistry: For stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, it is recommended to rinse the oral cavity with 10-15 ml of the preparation, 3-4 times a day. Surgery, Traumatology, Combustology: The wound or burn surface is treated for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes, wounds and fistulas are loosely packed with tampons, and gauze tampons moistened with the preparation are fixed.
