What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): fluoride, xilytol Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Biologically Active Supplements Dentistry → Other prophylactic and therapeutic agents for dental use → Preparations for caries treatment Composition: NaF (sodium fluoride), xylitol Pharmacological Properties: NaF spray - European quality, comfortable to use oral spray, which prevents and treats tooth decay by maintaining normal fluoride levels in the body. NaF (sodium fluoride): Fluoride increases tooth resistance to caries: - Promotes remineralization - Participates in the formation of fluorapatite (Ca5(PO4)3F) - Exhibits bactericidal action against acid-producing bacteria (Sreptococus Mutans) involved in caries formation - Prevents the process of sugar metabolism and acid release by bacteria in dental plaque. Xylitol: The only carbohydrate with a taste identical to food sugar. - Unlike other sweeteners, it protects teeth from caries and mineral deficiency. - Effective in repairing caries-induced cracks. - Cleans teeth from plaque and strengthens enamel protection. - Unlike other sugars, it does not cause fermentation and prevents the proliferation of bacteria in the oral cavity. Indications: - Delayed tooth eruption - Tooth decay - Tooth enamel hypersensitivity - Hair loss and brittleness Dosage and Administration: 2 months - 2 years: 1 spray per day (0.25 mg F-) 2 - 4 years: 2 sprays per day (0.5 mg F-) 4 years - adults: 4 sprays per day (1 mg F-) Administer independently of meals. The duration of the treatment course is determined by the attending physician. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Dosage Form: Oral spray 20 ml with sugar flavor №1 Storage Conditions and Shelf Life: Store the preparation at 250C in a place inaccessible to children. Use the bottle within 6 months of opening. The preparation is not allowed to be used after the expiry date, which is indicated on the bottle and the box.
