What is it?

Name - Nitronal 200mg #20 Capsules Indication: Treatment of acute bacterial diarrhea. Dosage and Administration Nitronal capsules and suspension are intended for oral administration. Capsules Adults: 1 capsule (200 mg) 4 times a day, every 6 hours; Children aged 6-18 years: 1 capsule (200 mg) 3-4 times a day, every 6-8 hours. Capsules are not used in children under 6 years of age. Suspension Adults: 5 ml (200 mg) 4 times a day, every 6 hours; Children aged 1 to 6 months: 2.5 ml (100 mg) 2-3 times a day, every 8-12 hours; Children aged 6 months to 3 years: 2.5 ml (100 mg) 3 times a day, every 8 hours; Children aged 3 to 6 years: 5 ml (200 mg) 3 times a day, every 8 hours; Children aged 6 to 18 years: 5 ml (200 mg) 3-4 times a day, every 6-8 hours. Suspension is not used in premature infants and newborns up to 1 month of age. Shake the bottle before each use to obtain a homogeneous suspension. Use the measuring cap provided in the package for dosing. The course of treatment should not exceed 7 days. If it is necessary to prolong the treatment, consult a doctor. Side Effects Nifuroxazide is well tolerated. Allergic reactions (rash, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, anaphylactic shock) are very rarely possible. If a side effect occurs that is not listed in the instructions for use, the patient should consult their doctor. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide, nitrofurans, and/or any other component of the preparation. - Nitronal suspension contains sorbitol and sucrose, therefore it is contraindicated in rare hereditary diseases such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
