What is it?
Composition One tablet contains: Active substance: Acetylsalicylic acid - 0.24g; Paracetamol - 0.18g; Caffeine - 0.03g; Cocoa - 0.015g; Citric acid - 0.02g; Excipients: Lactose, starch, talc, calcium stearate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, aerosil; Pharmacological properties Citramon "P" tablets are a combined preparation with analgesic, antipyretic, and mildly anti-inflammatory effects. Acetylsalicylic acid and paracetamol have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. Caffeine reduces feelings of weakness and fatigue, affects the cardiovascular system: increases heart rate, increases blood pressure in hypotension. Used as an antipyretic in case of colds and various infectious diseases. Dosage and administration 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets. The interval between doses is at least 6 hours. Side effects Allergy, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, pale skin, tachycardia. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum; gastrointestinal bleeding; liver and kidney dysfunction; blood system diseases; glaucoma; bronchial asthma; glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase genetic deficiency; first trimester of pregnancy and lactation; age under 15 years; acute respiratory diseases caused by viral infection. Pregnancy and lactation The use of the preparation during pregnancy (except for the first trimester) is permissible when the expected benefit to the mother clearly outweighs the potential risk of adverse effects on the fetus. Special instructions Caution: The preparation should be prescribed with caution in patients suffering from bronchial asthma and gout. The administration of the preparation is not recommended in children due to the high risk of developing Reye's syndrome. Effect on ability to drive and operate machinery: The preparation does not affect the ability to drive a car and operate machinery. Overdose In case of overdose, gastric lavage and intake of activated charcoal are necessary. Interactions with other drugs Interactions with other medicinal products: During combined therapy, it should be taken into account that Citramon "P" enhances the antiplatelet properties of blood - reduces blood clotting and platelet aggregation. Combination of the preparation with barbiturates, rifampicin, anticonvulsants, and alcoholic beverages is undesirable. Storage conditions and shelf life Store in a dry place, at room temperature. Shelf life: 4 years. The preparation is not allowed to be used after the expiry date or in case of defects found during visual inspection.
