What is it?
Perolait Plus Soap Perolait Plus is a therapeutic and prophylactic cleansing agent for pimples, comedonal acne, and acne-prone skin. Composition: Aqueous Benzoyl Peroxide BP Equivalent to Benzoyl Peroxide - 1.25% w/w Clindamycin Phosphate USP Equivalent to Clindamycin - 0.10% w/w Color - Sunset Yellow FCF Soap Noodles - Q.S. Excipients - Q.S. Indication: Treatment and prophylaxis of pimples, comedonal acne, and acne-prone skin. Directions for Use: Apply Perolait Plus Soap to the affected area of the skin and lather gently to form a rich foam. Rinse with water after two minutes. Warning: For external use only. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide. Do not use Perolait Soap on open wounds and cuts. In case of contact with mucous membranes of the mouth, eyes, and lips, it is recommended to rinse the area with plenty of water. After using this product, if you go outdoors, avoid direct sunlight and use sunscreen, sunglasses, and headwear. To avoid possible irritation, it is recommended to start with a lower percentage of Benzoyl Peroxide and increase as needed. It is particularly important to avoid using the following types of skin products in the same area where you are using Benzoyl Peroxide: Other topical acne products or skin products containing exfoliants Products that cause irritation, such as permanent wave or hair loss products Skin products that cause photosensitivity, such as products containing lime or spices Skin products containing high amounts of alcohol, such as astringents, shaving creams, or after-shave lotions Skin products that are very drying or abrasive to the skin, such as some cosmetics, soaps, or skin cleansers In case of excessive dryness and peeling of the skin, reduce usage to once a day or every other day. In case of hypersensitivity to Perolait Soap, consult a doctor. Possible Side Effects: Benzoyl Peroxide may cause excessive dryness and sometimes irritation of the skin, including burning, blistering, crusting, itching, redness, or swelling, although tolerance usually develops quickly. When using Clindamycin for topical applications, side effects such as headache and application site pain have been reported.
