Action Positon cream combines an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid (triamcinolone acetonide), a broad-spectrum antibiotic (neomycin sulfate), and an excellent antimycotic agent with antifungal properties (nystatin). Indications Risk of secondary bacterial or fungal infection Dermatitis (atopic, eczematous, stasis, nummular, contact, exudative, seborrheic, and neurodermatitis). Anogenital pruritus Eczema Chronic psoriasis Cutaneous candidiasis Dosage and administration 2-3 applications per day, as prescribed by a doctor. Warning about excipients Positon contains sorbic acid, which may cause dermatitis when applied to the skin. Contraindications Acute cutaneous tuberculosis Symptoms of cutaneous syphilis Viral dermatitis Intolerance to the preparation. Incompatibility and interactions Not described Precautions Do not use near the eyes Do not use in large doses, on large areas, or for prolonged periods during pregnancy. Do not use dressings on very large areas of skin, as absorption of the preparation may occur and contribute to toxicity. Treatment should be discontinued gradually.
