What is it?
Composition per 20 ml: Propolis - 6.0 g; 80% ethyl alcohol - up to 20 ml. Pharmacological action: Antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, wound healing agent. Indications: • Superficial lesions of the skin and mucous membranes; • Furunculosis, purulent skin diseases; • Mycosis. • Pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, periodontosis, bronchitis; • Gastric and duodenal ulcers, cholecystitis; • Prostatitis. Contraindications: • Individual intolerance to bee products; • Acute eczema. Dosage and administration: For superficial skin lesions: Apply a tampon soaked in propolis extract to the wound 1-3 times a day. For fungal skin diseases: Treat the affected area with a gauze tampon soaked in extract diluted 1:10, 2 times a day. For chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis: Apply propolis extract to the tonsils 1-2 times a day for 8-15 days. For chronic tonsillitis: Use the extract in an aqueous solution (diluted 1:20) for inhalation - 1-2 inhalations per day for 7-10 days. For sinusitis: Irrigate the sinuses twice a day for 14 days (propolis extract diluted 1:10 with isotonic sodium chloride solution). For furunculosis: Treat the affected area with a gauze tampon soaked in extract diluted 1:10. For periodontosis: Introduce propolis extract into periodontal pockets for 5 minutes after deep curettage. For superficial oral mucosal lesions: Use propolis extract (15 drops in half a glass of warm water) as a mouthwash 4-5 times a day for 3-4 days. For bronchitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, cholecystitis, cystitis, prostatitis: Take 15-20 drops of extract dissolved in 30-40 ml of warm water 2-3 times a day, 20 minutes before meals. Side effects: Itching, redness of the skin, rash may develop when using propolis alcoholic extract. In such cases, the use of the preparation should be discontinued. Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported. Special instructions: In case of an allergic reaction, discontinue the use of the preparation and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Interaction with other medicinal products: Not studied; Pregnancy and lactation: The use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation is possible as prescribed by a doctor. Effect on ability to drive and operate machinery: The use of the preparation does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery. Release form: 20 ml in an orange glass or polymer bottle. The bottle is labeled and placed in a cardboard box. Dispensing rule: Pharmaceutical product group III - can be used without a doctor's prescription. Shelf life: 3 years. Storage conditions: Store in a cool, dark place.
