What is it?
Description: Therapeutic food for infants, children, and adults Volume: 300 g Purpose: Therapeutic mixture; baby food Description Humana HN is indicated for diarrhea, for a maximum of 1 month. Upon restoration of digestion and normalization of gastrointestinal tract function, it is recommended to switch the baby to their usual feeding regimen. • It is a gluten-free, low-lactose therapeutic food specifically developed for the dietetic therapy of acute intestinal disorders; • Used for therapeutic feeding in infants, children over 1 year of age, and adults. • The main part of carbohydrates is represented by easily digestible maltodextrin; • Vitamin-mineral composition complies with international standards; • Fortification of the product with iron and zinc is related to the possible development of a deficiency of these microelements during diarrhea; • It has low osmolality (258 mOsm/L), as high osmolality can provoke diarrhea. Instructions for use Preparation is possible in the form of both a drink and a porridge. For preparing the mixture, use boiled and cooled to 70°C ordinary water or "Humana" water heated to 70°C. Drink 1 measuring spoon (4.8 g) powder + 30 ml water = 33 ml prepared drink. 3 measuring spoons (14.4 g) powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml prepared drink. Porridge 6 measuring spoons (30 g) powder + 70 ml water = 100 g prepared porridge. The prepared mixture should be given to the baby cooled to 37°C. Below is a rehydration and realimentation plan, which should be determined by a doctor. 1. The mixture should be prepared fresh each time.
