What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - fish oil Clinical-pharmacological group: Biologically active supplements Dosage form: Soft gelatin capsules Description: Transparent, yellow, oval capsules. Capsule content – transparent yellow fatty liquid with a specific odor. Contents 1 capsule contains: Active ingredients: Fish oil (EPA/DHA 30%) 1000 mg, Wheat germ oil 100 mg. Excipients: Gelatin, Anidrisorb, Glycerin 85%, Sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate, Purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group Hypolipidemic agent of animal origin. Indications - Hypertriglyceridemia associated with overweight, diabetes, hypertension, and atherosclerosis; - Prevention of conditions caused by dyslipidemia (disorder of lipid metabolism); - Atherosclerosis, ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension; - Arthrosis-arthritis of various origins; - Autoimmune diseases: multiple sclerosis, systemic scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis; - Bone diseases: fractures, osteomyelitis, osteoporosis, and others; - Peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum; - Prevention of malignant neoplasms; - Diabetes mellitus and prevention of its complications; - Nervous system diseases: memory impairment, impaired concentration, amnesia, dementia, Alzheimer's disease; - Skin diseases: psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis, and others, trophic ulcer; - For maintaining the health of mother and fetus (premature birth, low birth weight). Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side effects Allergic reactions may occur. Dosage and administration Reitoil is taken orally 1 capsule 3 times a day during or after meals, without chewing, with water. Course of treatment – not less than 3 months. A repeated course may be prescribed on the recommendation of a doctor. Overdose Symptoms: epigastric pain, dyspeptic disorders (nausea, diarrhea). Treatment: symptomatic. Interaction with other drugs Vitamin A, ascorbic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, magnesium preparations enhance the effect of the preparation. It is not recommended to take Reitoil in combination with fibrates (clofibrate, ciprofibrate, fenofibrate, etofibrate, gemfibrozil). Use during pregnancy and lactation During pregnancy and lactation, the preparation is taken only on the recommendation of a doctor. Special instructions It is not recommended to use Reitoil and other medicinal products containing vitamin E simultaneously.
