What is it?
Salbutamol-MF Composition: Active substance: Salbutamol sulfate; 1 dose of aerosol contains 100 mcg of salbutamol sulfate (calculated as salbutamol); Excipients: Oleyl alcohol, Ethanol 96%, Tetrafluoroethane. Indications. Short-acting (4 to 6 hours) bronchodilation with rapid onset (approximately 5 minutes) in airway obstruction. Relief of asthma attacks in diseases accompanied by airway obstruction, such as bronchial asthma. Prevention of bronchospasm attacks associated with allergen exposure or induced by physical exertion. In complex therapy of patients with bronchial asthma. Adults (including elderly patients) To stop exacerbations of bronchial asthma symptoms, including acute bronchospasm, 1 inhalation (100 mcg) can be used as a minimum starting dose. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 200 mcg (2 inhalations). For prophylaxis, 10-15 minutes before physical activity or expected contact with allergens, use 200 mcg (2 inhalations). For long-term maintenance therapy, it is recommended to use 200 mcg (2 inhalations) 4 times a day. Children aged 4 to 12 years For relief of acute bronchospasm, use 1 inhalation (100 mcg). If necessary, the dose can be increased to 200 mcg (2 inhalations). For children over 12 years of age, doses are used as for adults. For prophylaxis, 10-15 minutes before physical activity or expected contact with allergens, use 200 mcg (2 inhalations). For long-term maintenance therapy, it is recommended to use 200 mcg (2 inhalations) 4 times a day. The total daily dose of salbutamol should not exceed 800 mcg (8 inhalations). Increased need for beta-2 agonists may indicate worsening of bronchial asthma. In these cases, the patient's treatment regimen should be reviewed, and the need for glucocorticosteroid therapy should be considered. Usage 1. Remove the protective cap from the inhaler nozzle. Ensure that the inner and outer surfaces of the inhaler nozzle are clean. 2. Shake the container well with vertical movements. 3. Turn the container upside down with the inhaler nozzle pointing downwards, holding the container vertically between your thumb and middle and index fingers, with your thumb under the inhaler nozzle. 4. Exhale as deeply as possible, then place the inhaler nozzle in your mouth between your teeth and seal with your lips without biting. 5. Begin to inhale through your mouth, press the top of the container to spray the preparation, while continuing to inhale slowly and deeply. 6. Hold your breath, remove the inhaler nozzle from your mouth, and remove your finger from the top of the container. Continue to hold your breath for as long as possible. 7. If you need to take another inhalation, wait about 30 seconds and hold the inhaler vertically, then follow steps 2-6. Close the inhaler nozzle with the protective cap. Important: Follow steps 4, 5, and 6 slowly. It is important to start inhaling as slowly as possible just before spraying. You should practice in front of a mirror at first. If a "cloud" appears at the sides of your mouth, you should start again from step 2. Cleaning: The inhaler nozzle should be cleaned at least once a week. 1. Remove the protective cap from the inhaler nozzle and remove the inhaler nozzle from the container. 2. Thoroughly wash the inhaler nozzle and protective cap under warm running water. 3. Dry the inhaler nozzle and protective cap thoroughly inside and out. 4. Attach the inhaler nozzle to the container and valve stem, and close the free opening of the inhaler nozzle with the protective cap. Do not immerse the container in water!
