What is it?
Active Ingredient: Sildenafil Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Medication for erectile dysfunction. Indications: Treatment of erectile dysfunction, defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance; sexual stimulation is required for the specific action of sildenafil; the preparation is not indicated for women. Dosage and Administration: Tablets are taken orally. Use in Adults: The recommended dose is 50 mg, taken as needed approximately one hour before sexual activity. Depending on efficacy and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or reduced to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dose of the preparation is 100 mg, and the maximum frequency of administration is once a day. When taken with food, the activity of sildenafil may be delayed compared to taking it on an empty stomach. Contraindications: * Due to its effect on the metabolism of NO/cGMP, sildenafil enhances the hypotensive effect of nitrates, therefore its simultaneous administration with nitric oxide donors - amyl nitrite and nitrates in any form - is contraindicated. * Sildenafil should not be used in patients for whom sexual activity is contraindicated (e.g., patients with severe cardiovascular disease, such as unstable angina or severe heart failure). * It is also contraindicated in cases of severe liver and kidney failure, hypotension (blood pressure <90/50 mmHg), recent stroke or myocardial infarction, and congenital degenerative diseases of the cornea (pigmentation of the cornea). * Sildenafil is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Storage Conditions: The preparation should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in a place protected from moisture and children.
