Scars such as old hypertrophic, new hypertrophic, keloid, burn, general surgical procedures, and trauma. The hydrogel can be applied immediately to a newly developing wound as well as after it has healed (e.g., surgical sutures). Thus, there is no need to wait for the wound to close. What does Microcyn® Technology do? It is a unique, multipatented, pH-neutral, and balanced fluid produced by an electrochemical process. It provides superior efficacy, safety, and stability. Epicyn Composition: Silicone (Na2[SiF6]) Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCL) Ingredient Characteristics HOCL Known as a potent antimicrobial agent; has a very broad antimicrobial spectrum; increases oxygenation at the wound site; a bio-active substance similar to the main ingredients of phagocytosis and a much stronger antimicrobial agent. NaOCL Potent antimicrobial agent; removes necrotic tissue; effective for surgical wound treatment; produces sodium (Na) and hypochlorite (OCL) through water ionization; balanced by hypochlorous acid (HOCL). Epicyn™ Hydrogel is characterized by: Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, pH neutral, safe for oral, eye, and nasal use, non-toxic and non-cytotoxic, promotes the body's self-healing processes, easy to use. What are the benefits of silicone content? Triple effect! a) Moisturizes the skin, b) Restores skin structure, c) Promotes improved collagenization. Scar Management: Start immediately with Epicyn™ to reduce the scar area during the healing process and after healing! Epicyn™ can be applied immediately to a new wound as well as after suturing, without the need to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the wound to close. Clinically proven to reduce redness, hardness, and area. Relieves associated itching and pain sensations of scars. Ideal for scars of various sizes, shapes, and locations. Reduces skin discoloration associated with scars. How to Use Epicyn: Clean the affected tissue and let it dry. Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a thin layer of Epicyn™ to cover the affected tissue and gently massage it over the entire scar area. Allow the hydrogel to absorb well in open air. Once absorbed, you can apply cosmetics, a bandage, or wear compression garments. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a day.
