What is it?
SODIUM CHLORIDE Trade name: Sodium Chloride. International Nonproprietary Name: Sodium chloride. Dosage form: Isotonic solution for injection 9 mg/ml. Description: Clear, colorless liquid. Composition: Each ampoule (5 ml solution) contains: Active substance - Sodium chloride - 45 mg; Excipient - Water for injection. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Saline solutions. Contraindications: Incompatibility with the main medicinal product and the preparation. Method of administration and dosage: Administered intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously according to the method of administration of the main medicinal product. For washing wounds, eyes, mucous membranes, it is necessary to withdraw the contents of the ampoule with a sterile syringe, remove the needle, and carefully release the solution from the syringe to wash the wound, mucous membrane, or eyes.
