What is it?
Solphatam Composition: 1 ml of the preparation contains Active substance: Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 0.375 mg (equivalent to 15000 IU). Excipients: Sucrose, Benzyl alcohol, Citric acid monohydrate, Disodium phosphate anhydrous, Polyoxyl 35 castor oil, Tutti-frutti flavoring, Purified water. Indications: - Prevention of rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults; - Prevention of rickets in premature infants; - Prevention of vitamin D3 deficiency in children and adults at high risk; - Prevention of vitamin D3 deficiency in children and adults with malabsorption; - Treatment of rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults; - Maintenance treatment of osteoporosis in adults; - Treatment of hypoparathyroidism in adults. Dosage and Administration: Dosage regimen: The dosage regimen is determined by the attending physician individually, depending on the nature and severity of the disease. During prolonged therapy, when taking more than 1000 IU (2 drops) of the preparation daily, the serum calcium level should be monitored. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients of the preparation; - Hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria; - Nephrolithiasis and/or nephrocalcinosis; - Severe renal insufficiency; - Vitamin D hypervitaminosis; - Pseudohypoparathyroidism (during periods of normal sensitivity to vitamin D, it may be necessary to reduce the dose of vitamin D due to the risk of prolonged overdose. In such cases, vitamin D derivatives with a more controlled profile of action are used). Storage conditions: Store in a place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 C. Keep out of reach of children! After opening the bottle, the preparation should be used within 6 months.
