What is it?
APO-SUMATRIPTAN ACTIVE INGREDIENT: SUMATRIPTAN SUCCINATE APO-SUMATRIPTAN tablets are used for migraine headaches and other symptoms associated with a migraine attack. APO-SUMATRIPTAN tablets should not be used continuously to prevent attacks or reduce their frequency. APO-SUMATRIPTAN tablets should only be used to treat migraine headache attacks. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: Adults: Take as directed by your doctor. If the first tablet does not relieve the headache, no further doses of sumatriptan should be taken during the same attack. The patient may take another pain reliever that does not contain ergotamine preparations to relieve the pain. APO-SUMATRIPTAN tablets may be taken during subsequent attacks. APO-SUMATRIPTAN tablets may be taken at any time during a migraine. If symptoms recur and 2 hours have passed since taking the first tablet, a second tablet may be taken. No more than 200 mg should be taken in any 24-hour period. STORAGE CONDITIONS Keep the medicine in a safe place, out of reach of children. It may be harmful to children. Store tablets in a cool, dry place at room temperature, 15 C - 30 C. Store in blister packaging in the carton to protect from light.
