What is it?
Contents: 1 g gel contains 20 mg Troxerutin. Excipients: Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Benzalkonium Chloride, Purified Water. Dosage form: Gel for external use. It tones the vascular walls and reduces their increased permeability. It has an anti-inflammatory effect on tissues adjacent to veins. Thus, it eliminates swelling, improves vascular nutrition in various painful changes caused by venous insufficiency. Indications: Symptomatic treatment of the following conditions: • Venous insufficiency; • Varicose and pre-varicose syndromes; • Superficial thrombophlebitis, phlebitis, and post-phlebitic conditions; • Muscle cramps; • In the complex treatment of hemorrhoidal disease. Information necessary for the correct use of the medicinal product. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Precautions for use: Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any concomitant diseases! Troxevasin gel should not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds, and eczematous skin areas. Interaction with other medicinal products: Be sure to inform your doctor if you are using any other medications! Data on drug interactions have not been established to date. Special instructions: Pregnancy and lactation: There is no data on the adverse effects of the preparation on the fetus and newborn. Method of administration and dosage: Apply the required amount of gel to the affected area in the morning and evening, rubbing it in with light, massaging movements until the preparation is completely absorbed. It is odorless and does not leave greasy stains on linen. In more severe cases, combined therapy with Troxevasin capsules is recommended. Overdose: If you have taken an overdose, consult a doctor! Due to the method of administration and wide therapy, there is no risk of overdose. In case of accidental ingestion of a large amount, general evacuation measures (emetics) and symptomatic treatment should be carried out. Peritoneal dialysis is performed if indicated. If you notice similar symptoms, consult your doctor to reduce the dose or stop treatment. Side effects: Very rarely, skin irritation reactions – redness, itching, rash on the skin – occur when using Troxevasin gel. They usually disappear quickly after discontinuation of treatment.
