Properties

What is it?

Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains as active ingredients: 100 mg thiamine hydrochloride, 200 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride. Excipients: dextrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, methylcellulose, methacrylic acid - methyl methacrylate copolymer, triethyl citrate, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E171). Indications: Diseases of the nervous system caused by deficiency of vitamins B1 and B6. Dosage and administration: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the following doses are used: Adults should take 1-2 vit-B-denk tablets daily. The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease and is determined by the doctor. No later than 4 weeks after the start of treatment, the attending physician should decide on the necessity of further treatment steps. Side effects: Hypersensitivity reactions, urticaria, skin rash, shock. In case of any allergic reactions, discontinue the medication and consult a doctor. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to thiamine hydrochloride or pyridoxine hydrochloride. Interactions with other drugs: Vitamin B1 is degraded when taken in combination with cytostatic drugs such as 5-fluorouracil. Absorption of vit-B-denk is reduced when taken in combination with antacids. Prolonged use of diuretics can lead to vitamin B1 deficiency. Hydralazine, isoniazid, cycloserine, D-penicillamine - their use increases the requirement for vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 can reduce the effectiveness of L-DOPA. When consuming sulfite-containing beverages, such as wine, the vitamin B1 content may be reduced. Alcohol and black tea reduce the absorption of vitamin B1. Special warnings: If the patient misses a prescribed dose of vit-B-denk for any reason, take the usual dose at the next intake. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. If the patient stops taking the medication before completing the course of treatment, the symptoms of the disease are likely to recur or worsen. Pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy and lactation, consult a doctor before taking the medication, who will assess the potential risk-benefit for the fetus and mother. Overdose: If more than 1 g of vitamin B6 is taken daily, which corresponds to 5 vit-B-denk tablets per day, nerve damage may develop over 2 months or longer. In case of sensory disturbances, consult a doctor who will decide on reducing the dose or discontinuing the medication. Appearance and packaging: Film-coated tablets for oral administration. The package contains #100 tablets. Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25C, protected from light and out of reach of children. Expiration date: Indicated on the packaging.
