What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Hyaluronat acid+Citicolin Composition and Description Citicoline as sodium salt, sodium hyaluronate, hydrogenated phospholipids, disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, purified water. Indication VISNEUROX® LF is an ophthalmic solution containing 2% Citicoline and 0.075% high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid in a liposomal solution that acts as a carrier for Citicoline. Slightly opalescent white solution. Due to the presence of Citicoline and its structural action on retinal ganglion cells, VISNEUROX LF is indicated as an adjunct in patients with glaucoma during antihypertensive therapy. Due to the presence of Citicoline, VISNEUROX LF helps restore the integrity of cell membranes damaged by degenerative ophthalmic diseases such as glaucoma. Furthermore, the hyaluronic acid-based solution can create a microenvironment that promotes the recovery of the ocular surface in case of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium. Hyaluronic acid obtained by biotechnological synthesis creates a mucomimetic, mucoadhesive, and visco-elastic solution to improve tear film stability, maintain hydration, and protect the ocular surface. For external use only. Shake before use. Dosage VISNEUROX® LF, ophthalmic solution should be used 1 drop three times a day, or more frequently as prescribed by your doctor. Information on precautions (safety) and restrictions on use: Do not touch the eyes with the tip of the dropper. Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation. It is recommended to wait a few seconds before performing any activity that requires clear vision. Wait 10-15 minutes after instillation before instilling other ophthalmic preparations. Contraindications Do not use VISNEUROX® LF, ophthalmic solution if you are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients. Side effects If you experience any side effects, report them to your doctor or pharmacist. Storage conditions Store at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C, protected from light. Do not freeze! Keep out of reach of children! Do not use if the packaging is damaged. Shelf life: 36 months. Use within 30 days of opening the bottle. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
