What is it?
Palmitol Composition: A Palmitate (0.5%) D-Panthenol (0.1%) Excipients: Purified Water, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate Pharmacological Properties: Moisturizes and softens the nasal mucosa, maintains hydration. Possesses anti-inflammatory, dermatoprotective, and regeneration-stimulating effects. Fills pantothenic acid deficiency. Dexpanthenol is converted in the body to the active metabolite - pantothenic acid, which plays a significant role in metabolism: protein, carbohydrate, lipid, and phospholipid metabolism. It ensures corticosteroid production and choline acetylation. It participates in the repair and regeneration of epithelium and mucous membranes, locally stimulates fibroblasts, collagen (increases resilience), and elastin fiber formation, and accelerates mitosis. Indications for Use: · Reduction of crust formation after surgery, acceleration of healing · Reduction of traumatic nasal bleeding · Facilitation of endoscopic examinations and tamponade · Atrophic rhinitis (ozena) Contraindications and Side Effects: Individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation. Permitted for use in pregnant and lactating women. Method of Administration and Dosage: 2-3 sprays 4-5 times a day. Storage Conditions: Store at room temperature 12-25 °C.
