Lactase improves lactose digestion in infants who have problems with breakdown. In infants, a physiological transient deficiency of lactase causes abdominal distension due to undigested lactose remaining with food. Preparation of infant formula: Add 5 drops/0.22ml to milk or milk powder at each feeding. When you are sure the food temperature is acceptable, shake the bottle and start feeding. Administration continues up to 4 months, or as long as colic symptoms persist. Do not store leftovers! Do not exceed the recommended daily dose! Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet!
