What is it?
Adepi Tablet 30mg Composition: Each tablet contains: Active substance - Mirtazapine 30 mg Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, Wheat starch, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Magnesium stearate. Indication: Adepi belongs to a class of drugs known as antidepressants. The effect usually appears after 2-4 weeks. Adepi is used to treat depressive states. If your doctor has prescribed this medication for other purposes, follow your doctor's instructions. Take special care with Adepi: If you have epilepsy (seizures) or any similar brain disease. If you have liver disease (e.g., jaundice). If you have kidney disease. If you have heart disease. If you have high or low blood pressure. If you have psychotic disorders, e.g., schizophrenia or manic-depressive disorder (periods of euphoria/excessive energy alternating with low mood). If you have insulin-dependent diabetes, late onset. If you have glaucoma - if you have urinary disorders (e.g., due to enlarged prostate) - if your resistance to infection is reduced. If cases of leukopenia are observed during treatment with mirtazapine, contact your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have any of the above conditions. Dosage: Your doctor will explain the dosage you should take. Adults: The initial daily dose is 15-30 mg. Your doctor may increase the dose to achieve the most effective daily dose. For optimal treatment, it is important to take Adepi every day. Elderly: The dose is the same as for adults. Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: Mirtazapine is not used for the treatment of children and adolescents under 18 years of age. The tablet should be taken every day at the same time, preferably once a day, before sleep. If your doctor advises, the daily dose can be taken in two divided doses: one dose in the morning and the second in the evening. The higher dose should be taken in the evening. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water or other liquid, without chewing, as the tablets are bitter. The tablets can be divided into two halves. Changing or stopping treatment should only be done on the doctor's instructions. Storage: Store at no more than 25 C. Keep out of reach of children.
