What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Paracetamol+Chlorpheniramine Clinical-pharmacological group: Preparations for colds. Pharmacological properties: Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic. It does not affect platelet aggregation and prothrombin synthesis. After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed and its effect is manifested within 15-30 minutes. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that eliminates runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, and watery eyes. Dosage and administration: Adults and children > 12 years of age: 1 tablet every 4 or 6 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets per day. Indications: A-ferin® Forte tablets are indicated for the treatment of runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, headache, body aches, sore throat, malaise, fever, rhinitis, watery eyes, and itching associated with flu and colds. Side effects: Skin rash, blurred vision, dizziness, rarely gastrointestinal disturbances, drowsiness, and dry mouth. In case of an adverse event, consult your doctor. Contraindications: A-ferin® Forte tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation: Category B preparation. Animal studies have not revealed risks to the fetus, but controlled human studies have not been conducted. Animal studies have shown negative effects on the fetus, but well-controlled studies in pregnant women have not confirmed the risk to the fetus. It is not used during pregnancy without a doctor's recommendation. Use in nursing mothers: The preparation is not used during lactation without a doctor's recommendation. A-ferin® Forte tablets are not used in children under 12 years of age. Drug interactions should be considered during treatment with A-ferin® Forte tablets.
