What is it?
ISLANDER LOZENGES Composition: Quantity 1 lozenge/mg Marshmallow extract (Althea officinalis L.) - 75 Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica L. Ach.) standardized liquid extract 1.5-2.5:1 - 40 Polysaccharides (based on lichenin) - 0.4 Peppermint standardized essential oil (Mentha arvensis L.), containing: - 4 Menthol - 1.2 Menthone - 0.68 Limonene - 0.06 Thyme (Thymus zygis L.) standardized essential oil extract, containing: - 3 Thymol - 1.11 p-Cymene - 0.42 gamma-Terpinene - 0.12 Carvacrol - 0.02 Excipients: Xanthan gum, sweeteners: sorbitol syrup, maltitol syrup, sucrose, acesulfame K, melon flavor, salt, black carrot concentrated juice, vegetable oils, wax, solvent water. Indications: ISLANDER is used for painful and reddened throat, hoarse voice or complete loss of voice. Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica L. Ach.) - The extract contains polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, lichenin, and fatty acids. Polysaccharides (mucilage) are characterized by nourishing and regenerative properties of the mucous membranes. The preparation containing Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica L. Ach.) forms a protective film on the surface of the mucous membranes of the respiratory system, relieves pain, inflammation, and heals minor injuries. Additionally, it ensures the normal and active functioning of the respiratory and immune systems. Marshmallow (Althea officinalis L.) – The extract contains polysaccharides, essential oils, and other active components. Polysaccharides (mucilage) coat the mucous membranes and provide their nourishing, protective, and restorative function. It is used for minor injuries of the oral cavity, throat, esophagus, noisy breathing, throat irritation, dry and irritating cough. Peppermint (Mentha arvensis L.) – Standardized essential oil contains menthol, menthone, limonene, and others. Menthol is its main component, which gives it a specific scent and cooling effect. It is characterized by antibacterial, antiviral, and antioxidant properties. Thyme (Thymus zygis L.) – Standardized essential oil extract thymol is characterized by antiseptic, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties, and also has a mucolytic effect. Thyme essential oil reduces cold symptoms such as irritated and reddened throat, pain, and hoarseness. Dosage and administration: For adults and children over 3 years of age, use lozenges as needed (no more than 8 lozenges per day). Duration of administration until improvement of the condition. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. For use in children over 3 years of age. Lozenges weight - 2 g. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, out of reach of children. Do not use the preparation after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
