What is it?
Aknélek Cream 0.1% 30g Tube Composition: The active substance of the preparation is adapalene. 1 g of cream contains 1 mg of adapalene. Other ingredients: methylparahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propylparahydroxybenzoate (E 216), disodium edetate, glycerin, carbomer 974 P, methyl glucose hexostearate, macrogol 20 methyl glucose hexostearate, squalane, cyclomethicone 5, phenoxyethanol, sodium hydroxide, purified water. Indications: Aknélek cream contains adapalene as an active substance, which acts similarly to retinoids (a group of potent drugs used to treat skin diseases). When applied topically to the skin, adapalene helps normalize the processes of keratinization and differentiation of the epidermis, prevents the formation of acne, and reduces inflammatory changes (papules and pustules). Adapalene has a stronger anti-inflammatory effect than retinoids. Aknélek is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate juvenile acne (Acne vulgaris), comedonal and maculopapular eruptions. Usage: This preparation should always be used as advised by a doctor. If in doubt, consult a doctor. Aknélek cream should be applied once a day, preferably in the evening. Treatment is initiated by applying a small amount of the preparation to the skin, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips, as well as the nasolabial folds, 10-15 minutes after washing and drying the skin with a towel. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the preparation. If there is no improvement after 3 months of treatment, consult a doctor. The doctor will decide on the further use of the preparation. Use in children: Aknélek cream is intended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age only. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and effect on fertility: Aknélek cream should not be used during pregnancy or if the patient plans to become pregnant. Consult your doctor for additional information. Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before taking any medication. If your doctor recommends using the preparation during breastfeeding, do not apply Aknélek cream to the chest area to avoid contact with the baby. Driving and operating machinery: No effect of Aknélek cream on the ability to drive vehicles, operate machinery, and on psychophysical condition has been observed. Storage: The preparation should be stored in a place inaccessible and invisible to children. Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. The shelf life after the first opening of the tube is 6 months.
