What is it?
Aldobronchial Syrup 2mg/5ml 100ml Bottle Composition: The active substance is salbutamol (sulfate). Each 5 ml contains 2 mg of salbutamol (sulfate). Other components (excipients): Sodium benzoate (E-211), hypromellose, sodium saccharin, citric acid, orange flavoring, and purified water. Indication: Aldobronchial 2mg/5ml syrup's active ingredient is salbutamol. It belongs to the group of medicines called bronchodilators. Aldobronchial syrup is indicated for the prevention and symptomatic treatment of bronchospasm (obstruction of the airways in the lungs) associated with asthmatic attacks and other processes related to reversible obstructive airway disease. This belongs to the group of lung diseases that cause inflammation of the airways, resulting in blockage of airflow into the lungs. Pregnancy, lactation, and fertility: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. During pregnancy or lactation, this medicine should only be used if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk. Driving and operating machinery: Aldobronchial syrup has no, or negligible, effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery. Dosage: Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not forget to take the medicine. Your doctor will tell you how long you should take Aldobronchial syrup. Do not stop treatment prematurely. If your doctor has diluted your Aldobronchial syrup, the prepared mixture should be stored in a place protected from light and used within 28 days. Adults: The recommended dose is 5 ml to 10 ml (2 - 4 mg) taken three or four times a day. Use in children and adolescents: From two to six years of age: The recommended dose is 2.5 ml to 5 ml (1-2mg) three or four times a day. From six to twelve years of age: The recommended dose is 5 ml (2 mg) three or four times a day. Above twelve years of age: The recommended dose is 5 ml to 10 ml (2-4 mg) three or four times a day. Your doctor may prescribe a higher dose than previously recommended. Aldobronchial syrup is suitable for adults and children who prefer to take liquid medications. For children, the elderly, and patients with particular sensitivity to this medicine, it is recommended to start treatment with 5 ml of Aldobronchial syrup (2 mg) three or four times a day. It is very important to strictly follow the instructions for use of the medicines or your doctor's instructions regarding the amount and frequency of administration. Do not take more than prescribed. If you have any questions, consult your doctor. If you think that the effect of Aldobronchial syrup is too strong or too weak, inform your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible. Asthma exacerbation may occur and you may need a different type of medication. Storage: Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. No special storage conditions are required.
